Account & Profile

Your profile (display name, handle, avatar) is stored on our servers so friends can find you. Guest profiles stay on your device until you register.

Watch Parties & Chat

In private watch parties, chat messages and reactions are relayed through our servers to your room and are not retained long-term. Playback sync events contain only positions and timestamps.

Open World (public bubbles)

Open World bubbles are public: anyone signed in can see a bubble's title, host, what's playing and who is seated. Public bubble chat is kept for up to 30 days so reports can be reviewed, then deleted. Messages that break room rules or our automatic filters are blocked and recorded for moderation. Direct messages are stored until either person deletes their account. When you report someone, the related recent messages are attached to the report and kept for up to 12 months after it's resolved.

We ask for your birth year once (never shown to anyone) to keep 18+ bubbles, the camera and messages from adults who aren't friends away from people under 18. Open World isn't available under 13. If you allow notifications we store a device token to tell you when hosts you follow go live, scheduled bubbles start or you get a message. For Google Drive videos in a bubble, only the file link and basic details are shared; each viewer plays the file from Google Drive with their own access.

Active-user measurement

When you use the Wixi app, we record a pseudonymous Wixi profile or guest identifier, client platform and foreground activity timestamp to measure current and daily active users. We do not use IP addresses, browser fingerprints or advertising identifiers for this measurement. Identifiable activity records are retained for up to 90 days.

Voice & Video

Voice and camera streams are routed via our real-time infrastructure for the conversation and are never recorded.

Local Files & Google Drive

Locally shared videos travel peer-to-peer and are kept only in your browser's private storage. If you connect Google Drive, Wixi uses read-only access to list and play videos you own; we do not store your Drive files or credentials.

Your Choices

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app's Settings. You can also report or block other users. Contact support@dropgb.com with any privacy questions.
