Account & Profile

When you sign in with Google, your email address, account identifier, display name, handle, avatar and optional profile details are sent to and stored on Wixi's servers for authentication, account management, friends and watch-party features. Your email address is not displayed publicly. Guest profiles stay on your device until you register.

Analytics & Device Data

Wixi uses Firebase Analytics to collect app interactions and device or other identifiers so we can understand feature usage, diagnose reliability issues and improve the app. If you choose to enable Advertising measurement in the Android app's Settings, Wixi also uses Meta App Events for advertising campaign attribution and aggregated feature measurement. This optional setting is disabled by default and can be turned off at any time.

Analytics and advertising-measurement events describe feature usage only. Wixi does not send Meta private chat messages, room messages, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, Google Drive or local filenames, video titles, authentication tokens, voice or camera content, or media URLs. We do not sell personal data.

Watch Parties & Chat

Chat messages and reactions are relayed through our servers to your room and are not retained long-term. Playback sync events contain only positions and timestamps.

Voice & Video

Voice and camera streams are routed via our real-time infrastructure for the conversation and are never recorded.

Local Files & Google Drive

Locally shared videos travel peer-to-peer and are kept only in your browser's private storage. If you connect Google Drive, Wixi uses read-only access to list and play videos you own; we do not store your Drive files or credentials.

Your Choices

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app's Settings or use the public account deletion request page. You can also report or block other users. Contact support@dropgb.com with any privacy questions.
